A magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck Nepal on Tuesday afternoon, shaking Delhi and parts of the national capital region.
According to the National Seismological Center, the quake hit the Himalayan country at 2:28 pm, with its epicenter 148 km east of Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand.
The location is likely to have been at longitude 29.41 N, latitude 81.68 E with a depth of 10 km. Earthquake tremors are also likely to be felt in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
