Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made a big claim on September 28 regarding the assassination of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. Speaking to reporters in New York, Lavrov said Israel was aiming to provoke Iran and the US “to unleash a full-scale war across the region.” This is Russia’s third anti-Israel move in the last 24 hours. Lavrov earlier met with Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to discuss regional tensions on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
