⭐ Farmer Ends Indefinite Hunger Strike in Kuntala After Assurance on Soya Procurement
Kuntala farmer Padakanti Dattadri ended his three-day indefinite hunger strike on Friday after officials and former MLAs assured him that the issue of soya procurement would be taken up with the government. Dattadri began his fast demanding immediate action as farmers in the region struggled without timely procurement support.
Earlier in the day, a doctor assessed his condition and informed Tehsildar Kamal Singh that Dattadri’s health had deteriorated. Despite repeated appeals from authorities to withdraw the fast, Dattadri and fellow farmers insisted they would not relent without a firm commitment.
