The house voting facility for voters aged 85 years and above and people within the individuals with disabilities (PwD) class has been prolonged till Monday, election officers mentioned on Sunday. As of Sunday night, 96% of voters within the 85-plus class and 97.4% of PwD voters who had opted for the house voting choice have exercised their franchise. In Kerala, 1,39,871 of the 1,45,598 voters within the 85-plus class and 60,568 of the 62,159 voters within the PwD class have exercised this selection to vote, in line with information launched by the workplace of the Chief Electoral Officer (Kerala).
Since March 30, the CEO’s workplace has deployed 2,500 polling groups for the house voting association. In the meantime, 73.13% of voters in 14 important providers together with police, hearth and rescue service, media and well being providers even have forged their votes thus far.
