Jammu, Apr 06: J&Okay Anti Corruption Bureau, Jammu registered a case FIR No. 03/2026 U/S 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 towards public servant, specifically Des Raj, Junior Assistant posted at Social Welfare Division, Billawar, District Kathua, for demanding and accepting unlawful gratification from the complainant.
The mentioned accused public servant, demanded the bribe amounting to ₹10,000 from the complainant, for releasing of help below State Marriage Help Scheme for the wedding of his daughter, whose marriage stands mounted on 16-04-2026. The mentioned accused, after negotiation, agreed to obtain ₹5,000 as bribe cash from the complainant for doing the needful.
