Israel Assaults Lebanon LIVE Updates: Israel launched a large-scale, shock army operation in opposition to Hezbollah targets throughout Lebanon on Wednesday, whilst a ceasefire between the US and Iran took impact.
Israel’s Defence Minister Israel Katz mentioned the strikes focused lots of of Hezbollah members at command centres.
“The IDF carried out a shock strike on lots of of Hezbollah terrorists at command centres throughout Lebanon.”
He described the operation as: “The biggest concentrated blow Hezbollah has suffered since Operation Beepers.”
Ceasefire doesn’t cowl Lebanon
The strikes come a day after the US and Iran agreed to a two-week ceasefire, geared toward stopping wider regional escalation. Nonetheless, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made clear that the truce doesn’t prolong to Israel’s battle with Hezbollah.

“We insisted on differentiating between the arenas of Iran and Lebanon with a view to change the truth in Lebanon and take away threats from the residents of the north.”
