BBC Radio Scotland have introduced modifications to the presenting line-up of two weekday daytime programmes.
Grant Stott will return as presenter of Afternoons Monday-Thursday with radio broadcaster and BBC Scotland’s Landward presenter, Arlene Stuart taking on on Fridays. In the meantime Connie McLaughlin has been confirmed as presenter of Radio Scotland’s Mornings programme three days per week, with Stephen Jardine persevering with to host the Thursday and Friday editions.
Broadcasting between 1.30-4pm, the brand new line-up for Afternoons shall be in place from Monday 1 June 2026 and convey audiences a full of life mixture of music, chat and large interviews, with a concentrate on the colourful arts, tradition and leisure scene in Scotland and past.
The present afternoon presenting line-up of Michelle McManus, Len Pennie and Nicola Meighan, will step down from Friday 29 Might.
