The Punjab government has launched an ambitious initiative to improve education standards by sending 72 government primary school teachers to Finland for a three-week international training programme. This follows the successful training of over 304 Indian faculty in Singapore and IIM-A in the last 19 months, including 198 principals who have been trained in Singapore since February 2023. The Aam Aadmi Party government has also set up a cell for international education affairs, to facilitate global training opportunities for teachers and school administrators. This initiative aims to improve the quality of education in Punjab.
