Nirmal: A farmer fainted because of the intense heatwave whereas collaborating in a protest searching for procurement of paddy and maize at Yellapur village in Kadem mandal on Monday.
Farmers from Lingapur village gathered at a junction close to Yellapur to protest in opposition to the federal government’s inaction in procurement. One in all them, Akula Narsaiah from Lingapur, fell unconscious because of the harsh climate situations. Different protesters shifted him to a hospital in Kadem, the place his situation was stated to be secure. Officers said that steps have been being taken to expedite procurement of paddy and maize. They admitted {that a} scarcity of automobiles had led to some delay and added that farmers have been being paid.
