Beirut:
The Iran-backed Hezbollah group warned on Tuesday that it would step up attacks on Israel, including the northern port city of Haifa, if it continued to strike Lebanon.
“Intensifying strikes by the Israeli enemy” mean that “Haifa and other places will be targeted by our rockets just as much as Kiryat Shmona, Metula and other” places, the group said. Earlier, the Israeli military said 85 shells were fired from Lebanon at northern Israel, including Haifa.
