Baba Siddique, NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister, was shot dead at his MLA son’s office in Bandra, Mumbai on 12 October. He was rushed to the nearby Lilavati Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, ANI reported. Siddique, who was with the Congress for 48 years, was credited with brokering a truce between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan.
