Her story epitomizes the power of determination and self-belief. Let’s take a look. Aashna hails from Pilkuwa, a town in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. Her father, Dr. Ajit Chaudhary, is a professor in a government university, while her mother, Indu Singh, is a homemaker. She studied at various schools across India, including St Xavier’s School in Pilkhuwa, St Mary’s School in Udaipur and Delhi Public School in Ghaziabad. She cleared her 12th board exam with humanities subjects. She did very well in her studies and scored 96.5 percent marks in class 12.
In 2019, she received her Honors in English Literature from the renowned Lady Shri Ram College of Delhi University. Then in 2023, she did her Masters in International Relations from a South Asian University located in New Delhi. During her master’s degree, she also worked with an NGO that cared for underprivileged children.
Aashna Chaudhary took a break of 1 year after graduation and prepared for the UPSC exam. She was inspired by her family members who advised her to try for UPSC. She made her first attempt in 2020 after a year of preparation. She failed and failed the exam.
She persevered and showed intelligence for her third attempt in 2022. Finally she cleared the exam without training with AIR 116. She secured 992 marks out of 2025 marks. She then secured her first preference for service – the Indian Police Service (IPS).
Apart from academics, Aashna is also active on social media. Recently, IAS Abhinav Siwach shared some pictures on social media. IPS Ashna Chaudhary is also seen with him in the picture. People are praising both of them in the comments. Abhinav Sivach is a resident of Gorakhpur village in Haryana’s Fatehabad district. He has cleared the UPSC civil services exam in his second attempt in 2022.
According to reports, Aashna Chaudhary and Abhinav Siwach met at the IAS Training Centre. Abhinav Sivach completed his MBA from IIM Kolkata after completing his BTech from DTU in 2016. He has also worked as an investment banker.
