PATNA: The controversy is over Durga Puja Music between two ‘tolas’ in a village in Bihar Sitamarhi on Saturday escalated into a violent clash on Sunday soon after the immersion of the idol, leaving two people fatally injured, reports Faryal Rumi.
“Stabbed criminals Sahni and hits Bharat Manjhi with an iron rod when they tried to calm the situation on Sunday. Sahni succumbed to her injuries while Manji died at a hospital in Muzaffarpur on Monday,” SDPO Ram Krishna Sitamarhi Sadar said. Sahni’s wife filed a complaint naming 23 people, Supi Police Station SHO Vishwadev said Manji’s family will register the complaint after receiving the body,” he said.
