Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced the recruitment of 5272 posts for Women Health Workers (Assistant Nurse Midwife or ANM). Among them, 4,892 vacancies are for women health workers under general selection and 380 are for special selection. Interested candidates should apply online through the official website of the commission. The application process will begin on October 28, 2024, with the submission deadline set for November 27, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have completed a two-year Assistant Nurse-Midwife (ANM) program from a government-recognized institution in India.
Candidates are required to have cleared the Preliminary Eligibility Test 2023 conducted by Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission.
Applicant age must be between 18 and 40 years as on 1 July 2024.
There is an age relaxation policy which allows an additional three years for OBC candidates and five years for SC/ST candidates.
Qualifications for ANM Recruitment 2024:
Applicants must have completed Class 12 and then successfully completed a one-and-a-half to two-year Assistant Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) course, which includes six months of practical training in midwifery. Also, candidates must be registered with the UP Nursing and Midwifery Council in Lucknow. Also, candidates must possess UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2023 score card to be considered for recruitment.
