The Israeli army said its troops killed two gunmen who crossed over from Jordan on October 18, slightly injuring two soldiers. Two Israeli soldiers, one of them a reservist, were slightly wounded in an exchange of fire with the attackers, the army said. The Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan later announced that the two slain attackers were members of their group. Meanwhile, Russia is ready to help seek compromises between arch-enemies Israel and Iran, President Vladimir Putin said.
