While many people sympathized with Alice Kaushik, former Bigg Boss contestant Manu Punjabi criticized her for the panic attack. Kanwar Dhillon responded to this by teaching him about the need for mental health awareness.
Alice Kaushik has become a popular contestant on Bigg Boss 18 and boasts of a huge fan base. But her main support system is surely her friend and former co-star Kanwar Dhillon. Recently, Alice was seen breaking down in tears when his close friend on the show, Avinash Mishra, was temporarily evicted. This eventually led to a panic attack and she was helped by other contestants. While many sympathized with her, former Big Boss contestant Manu Punjabi slammed her for the panic attack. Kanwar Dhillon responded to the same by teaching him about the need for mental health awareness.
In an Instagram story, Kanwar Dhillon shared the Youtuber’s remarks and wrote, “It’s cool to make fun of Alice Kaushik for having a panic attack on Bigg Boss 18? You should be ashamed of yourself for turning this into a joke!” He also stressed that panic attacks and anxiety are serious illnesses that should not be ignored. Kanwar advised Manu to educate himself about mental health. Kanwar added that panic and anxiety attacks should not be taken lightly or mocked for the sake of content.
Kanwar further alleged that Manu Punjabi deleted his comment on the tape about Alice Kaushik. He wrote, “Mera comment delete karne se ye sach nahi badlega ki teri baatein, sock aur content sab kuch (shit emoji) hai…grow up and be responsible dude. You should apologize to Alice Kaushik for the nonsense you have spoken against her. And anyone who goes through this! Meanwhile, enjoy ‘Lime & Light’ with all the desperate attention you live for.” Manu Punjabi is known for his episodic reviews of Bigg Boss.
Earlier, Alice Kaushik was seen talking about Kanwar Dhillon on the show. She was sitting with Karan Veer Mehra and Eisha Singh when she shared details about her personal life. She remarked, “I am the first friend who jisko usne ghar pe introduces kiya. He only addressed me: “I want to marry you.” It wasn’t like ki i like you i love you no seedha i want to marry you. He knows I’m a no-nonsense person (I’m the first girlfriend he brought into the house).” Alice and Kanwar met on the sets of Pandya Store and eventually started dating.
