In keeping with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, the 2 seized vessels have been concerned in organized gasoline smuggling operations within the waters surrounding Farsi Island.
Authorities reported that over a million liters of smuggled gasoline have been found aboard the seized vessels.
Moreover, 15 overseas crew members have been detained and handed over to judicial authorities for authorized proceedings.
Officers famous that the vessels had been working as a part of a coordinated smuggling community over current months.
Following intelligence monitoring, surveillance, and operational monitoring, IRGC naval forces recognized and intercepted the vessels, bringing the unlawful operation to a halt.
