Beirut:
Hezbollah said it launched a rocket attack on Israel Military Industries Ltd., also called Ta’a, in the suburbs of Tel Aviv.
Hezbollah said in a statement on Wednesday evening that the strike “hit the targets”.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said earlier in the day that four projectiles were fired Wednesday evening from Lebanon into central Israel, adding that two of them were intercepted and two others fell without any reports victims.
Meanwhile, Israeli state broadcaster Kan TV, citing Palestinian sources, said a shell landed near the West Bank city of Qalqilya, slightly injuring a man and damaging a car.
Since September 23, the Israeli military has been carrying out intense airstrikes against Lebanon in a dangerous escalation with Hezbollah.
In early October, Israel also launched a ground operation near the southern Lebanese border, which it says is further crippling Hezbollah’s capabilities.
