The The Washington Post newspaper announced Friday (Oct. 25, 2024) that it will not endorse any Democrat Kamala Harris nor did Republican Donald Trump c US presidential election.
Chief executive William Lewis said it was a return “to our roots of not endorsing presidential candidates.”
The Publish editorial board endorsed candidates for more than three decades before deciding to sit out in perhaps the most polarizing election in US history.
