The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Reserve List for the Civil Services Examination (CSE Mains) 2023 as requested by the Ministry of Personnel and Training. According to the notification, UPSC has recommended 120 candidates — 88 from general category, 5 from EWS, 23 from OBC, 3 from SC and 1 from ST — to fill the remaining posts based on the civil services exam. The names and roll numbers of these newly recommended candidates are available on the official website. Candidates can visit upsc.gov.in to check and download the notification.
The official notification reads, “As requested by the Ministry of Personnel and Training, the Commission has already recommended 120 candidates including 88 General, 05EWS, 23 OBC, 03 SC and 01 ST to fill the remaining posts based on the Civil Services Examination, 2023 .Candidates so recommended will be notified directly by DOP&T.”

The UPSC declared the CSE Result 2023 on 16 April 2024. At that time, the commission recommended 1016 candidates for recruitment to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and some other Central Services and Group A , group B vacancies.
