Srinagar, Feb 16: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday introduced reopening of 14 closed vacationer vacation spot within the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Workplace of LG J&Okay in a put up on X (previously Twitter) stated: “After a radical safety assessment and dialogue, I’ve ordered reopening of extra vacationer spots in Kashmir and Jammu Divisions, which had been quickly closed as precautionary measures.
11 vacationer spots in Kashmir Division- Yousmarg, Doodhpathri in Budgam, Dandipora Park in Kokernag, Peer Ki Gali, Dubjan & Padpawan in Shopian, Astanpora, Tulip Backyard in Srinagar, Thajwas Glacier, Hung Park in Ganderbal & Wullar/ Watlab in Baramulla to be reopened instantly.
3 vacationer spots in Jammu Division- Devi Pindi in Reasi, Mahu Mangat in Ramban and Mughal Maidan in Kishtwar to be reopened instantly.
3 websites in Kashmir Division- Gurez, Athwatoo, Bangus and 1 website in Jammu Division- Ramkund in Ramban will likely be reopened as soon as snow will get cleared”.
It’s pertinent to say that authorities had closed vacationer spots throughout Jammu and Kashmir following lethal terror connect in Pahalgam in April 22, 2025. Twenty six individuals, principally vacationers had been killed within the assault.
