NEW DELHI: The Fee for Air High quality Administration (CAQM) on Saturday reimposed GRAP-IV in Delhi-NCR after the area’s air high quality slipped into the ‘extreme’ class. This comes a day after GRAP-III was enforced as a precautionary measure. The area has been grappling with excessive air pollution ranges for a number of months. GRAP-IV had earlier been lifted in late December.
GRAP Stage IV is triggered when the Air High quality Index (AQI) exceeds 450, reaching the ‘extreme+’ class. The fee clarified that measures beneath Stage I, Stage II, and Stage III of the prevailing GRAP will proceed as per the modified GRAP issued on November 21, 2025.Underneath Stage IV, personal car motion is just not utterly banned.
