Kozhikode: A person was discovered useless by suicide after a lady shared a video on social media accusing him of sexually harassing her on a bus.
The deceased has been recognized as Deepak (40), a local of Govindapuram in Kozhikode. He was discovered useless at his residence early this morning.
The girl had alleged by social media that the person intentionally touched her physique with sexual intent whereas travelling on a crowded bus. The video she posted went viral, receiving over 20 lakh views and being extensively shared.
Following the circulation of the video, Deepak was reportedly in a foul psychological state, in keeping with family and associates. His household has alleged that he was subjected to character assassination by the video and claimed that the girl created the content material for social media publicity.
The incident reportedly passed off in Payyannur. Kozhikode Medical Faculty police have registered a case of unnatural demise and launched an investigation.
