VIJAYAWADA: The suspected honour killing of a 23-year-old lady in Macherla has taken a dramatic flip with the sufferer’s father, the principle accused, confessing to police that a few officers had helped him hint his daughter in lieu of cash.Based on investigators, Chowdeswari was murdered allegedly by her father Chandra Srinu on March 18 for marrying Nagaraju towards his needs. Srinu had tried to stage her demise as suicide and allegedly made a useless bid to tamper with the autopsy report too. However, the report confirmed homicide and he was arrested on April 1.On questioning, Srinu reportedly admitted {that a} police officer helped hint Chowdeswari’s whereabouts and handed her over to her household in lieu of cash.
