Knee-deep in the campaign for the upcoming US presidential election, Kamala Harristhe husband of Doug Emhoff and Democratic candidate Tim Waltz were spotted blowing off steam with their kids at a coffee shop in Arizona.
In a video shared on X, Emhoff and Waltz answered their kids’ questions about their favorite food and the music they listen to while on the campaign trail.
“I’ve heard a lot Springsteen, REMvery cheerful music,” replied Tim Waltz.
He also shared a memorable moment from a recent event where musicians Michael Stipe and Jason Fall performed. Waltz noted that Stipe sang “Driver 8” for the first time in 16 years.
The kids then shifted their focus to food, asking about the best meals Emhoff and Waltz enjoyed during the campaign. Emhoff expressed his admiration for cinnamon buns they enjoyed it and said, “This cinnamon bun is very good. We had two of them. There were hardly any left!”
As the video drew to a close, Emhoff and Waltz encouraged their children and the audience to actively participate in the electoral processurging them to “Get out and vote. We love you guys.”
