NEW DELHI: The Election Fee has ordered the rapid suspension of seven West Bengal govt officers on the stage of assistant electoral registration officers (AEROs), for “critical misconduct,dereliction of obligation and misuse of statutory powers” in reference to the continued particular intensive revision (SIR) course of within the state.The fee has all directed the West Bengal chief secretary to make sure that disciplinary proceedings are initiated in opposition to all of the seven officers.

Two AEROs had been suspended in Canning Purbo AC, particularly Satyajit Das, joint block improvement officer (BDO) and Joydeep Kundu, FEO. The seventh official acted in opposition to by EC is Debashis Biswas, joint BDO and AERO of Debra AC.
