Stress food: Eating food when we are stressed mainly helps in the correction of stress, but it is not good in the long term.  Find other ways to deal with stress or boredom that don't involve eating, such as going for a walk, reading a book, or calling a friend.

Avoid keeping junk food at home: Do not keep unhealthy snacks at home or at least keep them out of reach.  Make sure you have an environment that supports your goal.  If you want to get fit and make better food choices, don't buy junk food and store it in your pantry.  Buy food that you have to cook instead of instant biscuits or chips or noodles.
