India has appointed Vikram Okay. Doraiswami as the following Ambassador to China, the Ministry of Exterior Affairs introduced on Thursday (March 19, 2026). Mr. Doraiswami is at the moment the Excessive Commissioner of India to the UK.
“He’s anticipated to take up the task shortly,” the Ministry mentioned in a press release.
At present, Pradeep Kumar Rawat is serving as India’s Ambassador to China.
Mr. Doraiswamy has beforehand served as India’s Ambassador to Bangladesh, South Korea and Uzbekistan.
