A collaborative initiative between Siemens Stiftung, Siemens and Pratham Training Basis is supporting entry to STEM (Science, Expertise, Engineering and Arithmetic) studying sources for varsity college students from economically weaker sections in India.
Beneath the programme ‘STEM Training for Innovation: Experimento India’, free digital Open Studying Assets (OERs) have been developed and built-in with Siemen’s Undertaking Jigyaasa, a curiosity-based studying initiative. The sources intention to strengthen STEM studying outcomes in alignment with India’s Nationwide Curriculum Framework.
In 2024, Siemens Stiftung signed a memorandum of understanding with Siemens Restricted and Pratham Training Basis to implement the programme in colleges and group studying environments.
The OERs can be found in English, Hindi and Marathi and are designed for college kids from low-income communities. In response to mission organisers, the platform recorded greater than 155,000 views throughout the first 15 months of its launch.
The initiative was mentioned at a panel hosted by the Embassy of Germany in New Delhi titled ‘Nurturing Scientific Expertise in India: Indo-German Cooperation in Training, Innovation and Abilities’. The dialogue introduced collectively representatives from authorities, academia, trade and civil society to look at collaboration in training, analysis and expertise improvement.
Opening remarks on the panel have been delivered by Philipp Ackermann. The dialogue referenced the Indo-German roadmap on increased training introduced in January 2026 by Friedrich Merz and Narendra Modi, which highlights training, analysis and expertise as areas of bilateral cooperation.
