Actress Kareena Kapoor and singer Kanika Kapoor Attended the Indian Chamber of Commerce-Young Leaders Forum event in Kolkata on Sunday. A video from the event shows Kareena sitting in her seat as Kanika takes to the stage to sing the song Udta Punjab, Da Da Dase. Kareena starred in the film which also had Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead cast. Kareena Kapoor She was decked out in a black backless dress and had her hair tied up in a neat bun as she belted out the song. Kanika was also in a black dress with a front split. Kareena sang the catchy song when she sang Da Da Duse.

During the discussion, Kareena also spoke about the ‘Boycott Bollywood’ trend. He said, “I don’t agree with that at all. If that happens, how are we going to have fun, how are you going to have that joy and happiness in your life, which I think everybody needs. And What cinema and movies are promising, what we’ve always done, what movies have always done. What entertainment will there be if there are no movies (What entertainment will there be if there are no movies) .
Kareena was last seen in Advaita Chandan’s Lal Singh Chadha. Aamir Khan played the titular role in the film as he stepped into the shoes of Tom Hanks in this original remake of his film Forrest Gum. The film faced the ‘boycott Bollywood trend’ which is believed to be one of the reasons for its underperformance at the box office.
Kareena has completed shooting for her two upcoming projects. He shot Sujoy Ghosh’s thriller based on the book The Devotion of Suspect X in West Bengal’s Kalimpong last year. He then shot in the UK for Hansal Mehta’s next untitled film. It also stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat.
