Actor Kareena Kapoor has reacted to the trend where a section of people boycott Bollywood films. During a recent event in Kolkata, Kareena questioned how people will be entertained if there are no films. The trend of ‘#Boycott Bollywood’ started last year before the release of several films like Lal Singh Chadha, Ligar, Brahmastra and Raksha Bandhan. This trend affected the box office business of some films.
Kareena was quoted by news agency ANI as saying, “I don’t agree with this at all. If this happens, how will we have fun, how will you have the joy and happiness in your life, which is mine?” Everyone needs the idea and who? Ahead of Laal Singh Chaddha’s release, Twitter users started trending the hashtag #BoycottLaalSinghCaddha, asking people not to watch the film. He also has an upcoming comedy film The Crew opposite Tabu and Kriti Sanon. Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, the film is set against the backdrop of the struggles of the airline industry.
