According to the country’s leading news agency… Don’s, the FIR filed by the victim’s father stated that the main accused was a “drug addict” and had “tortured” his daughter for refusing to take drugs. Video clips of the incident have gone viral on the internet where a few female students are allegedly torturing another girl.

According to news agency PTI, this incident took place at the American International School in Lahore. The video clips show the teenage girls hanging the victim on the ground and holding her by her hair. According to the FIR, one of the suspects “is a boxer who punched the victim on his face while the other kicked him causing injuries on his face”. He further alleged that the assailants also took away a gold chain and a locket from the victim. The local police started investigating the matter.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Maheen Faisal shared video clips demanding action against the attackers. “Absolutely disgusted by this,” he shared the video. Scenes from the Scarsdale American International School in Defense Lahore, where students allegedly tortured a fellow student for refusing to drink alcohol. This is unacceptable, I hope serious action will be taken against the girls.”

Meanwhile, the local court of Lahore took up the matter and granted pre-arrest bail to the three girls. Lawyers for the three suspects said they were being “falsely implicated” and that their clients would cooperate with the investigation.

The father also urged the country’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to take action against those who uploaded videos of the incident on social media.
