Liz Cheney says many Republicans will vote for Harris: ‘They may not be public…’ – Times of India

The daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney Liz Chaney said he was aware that many Republicans would vote yes Kamala Harris — more so than those who have openly supported Harris. Campaign with Harris PennsylvaniaLiz Cheney said many Republicans may not be public about their vote choice.
The conservative leader, who backs the Democratic ticket, said it was not a difficult choice to support Kamala Harris and she made the decision partly as a mother. “I know how quickly democracies can fall apart,” Liz Chaney said.

“In this election, and especially here in Pennsylvania, we have the opportunity to tell the whole world who we are. We have the chance to say we’re going to reject the cruelty, the meanness and the meanness that we’ve seen from Donald Trump, we’re going to reject the misogyny that we’ve seen from JD Vance and Donald Trump. And we have the chance to elect someone who will always uphold the rule of law. We have the chance to remind people that we are a good country…” said Liz Chaney. “She has a real heart and I’m honored to be here to support her in this race.”
The former Wyoming representative is Kamala Harris’ best bet to win Republican undecideds and independents. Harris’ campaign has three stops in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — the three battleground states that swung the race in 2016 in favor of Donald Trump and in 2020 in favor of Joe Biden.
Experts say they are the type of voters who may have supported former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley but may be open to change. And Trump also expects to deploy Nikki Haley in the last part of the campaign.
