L&T Technology Services’ net profit rises to Rs 320 crore in the second quarter


Mumbai: IT major L&T Technology Services Ltd on Wednesday reported a net profit of Rs 320 crore in the July-September quarter of the financial year 2024-25, up 2% from Rs 314 crore in the previous quarter.

According to a stock exchange filing by L&T Technology Services (LTTS), revenue in the second quarter of financial year (FY) 2024-25 rose 4.5% to Rs 2,573 crore from Rs 2,462 crore in the April-July quarter of this fiscal year.

The company reported US dollar revenue of $307 million, up 6.5% year over year. Earnings before interest and tax rose 1% to Rs 388 crore, while EBITDA margin narrowed to 15.1%.

L&T Technology Services Ltd CEO and Managing Director Amit Chadha said, “With our process involving larger deals involving consolidation as well as advanced technology transformation, we are confident in our vision and our medium-term outlook from $2 billion in revenue with an EBIT margin of 17-18 percent.”

“We are seeing an uptick in conversations about artificial intelligence (AI)-led deals, and our portfolio of AI solutions and accelerators is helping to win deals in our focus areas across segments. The company has filed a total of 165 AI patents to date,” he added.

At the end of Q2 2025, L&T Technology Services’ patent portfolio stood at 1,394, of which 877 were co-authored with its clients and 517 were filed by LTTS. LTTS headcount stood at 23,698 in the quarter ended September 30.

L&T Technology Services declared an interim dividend of Rs 17 per share. The company announced a distribution of Rs 179.9 crore to shareholders in the second quarter of this fiscal. The board has set October 25 as the record date for paying the dividend. Shares of LTTS closed 0.72% higher at Rs 5,356.9 apiece on the NSE, compared with a 0.34% decline in the benchmark Nifty 50.
