More than 200 students and teachers participating in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Pariksha Pe Charcha” program this year will also witness the Republic Day parade and batting retreat ceremony, Ministry of Education (MoE) officials said on Wednesday.
During the 74th Republic Day parade on Thursday, he will be enshrined in Wall 18 on the Kartuya Path.
According to an MoE official, 200 students, including winners of the Kala Utsav competition, and teachers participating in the Preksha Pe Charcha program will also witness the Republic Day parade on January 26 and the batting retreat on January 29.
Preksha Pe Charcha is an annual event where Modi interacts with students appearing for the upcoming board exams. The Prime Minister also answers questions from students regarding exam pressure and other issues.
The sixth edition of the program is scheduled to be held on January 27 at the Tal Katura Indoor Stadium in Delhi. The first edition of the Prime Minister’s interactive program with school and college students was held on 16 February 2018 at the stadium.
The registration process for participation in the annual event continued from November 25 to December 30.
A senior education ministry official said, “Students participating in the Pariksha Pe Charcha program will also be taken to places of national importance like Raj Ghat, Siddeo Atal, Prime Minister Museum, Kartaviya Path etc. to familiarize them with our glorious heritage. can be introduced.”
He said that there have been around 38.8 lakh registrations this year, including over 1.6 lakh registrations from state boards. “This is more than double the registrations (15.73 lakh) during PPC 2022,” he added.
155 countries have registered. A total of 102 students and teachers from across the country and 80 winners of the Kala Utsav competition will witness the main event as special guests, the official said.
