Given its overwhelming response on the opening day, Yash Raj Films has now added a post-midnight, 12.30 pm show across the country starting Wednesday to meet the popular demand. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the development, “Midnight shows of Pathaan begin… #YRF adds late night shows of #Pathaan – tonight (from 12.30 pm) – #Bay across India For instance, to meet public demand.”
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathan marks Shah Rukh’s comeback in a full-length film. It also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles. According to PTI, it opened on 5,000 screens in major cities like Delhi-NCR and Mumbai, starting at 6 am and 7 am. In addition, more than 300 screens were added to meet demand, which according to Taran now stands at 8,500 worldwide.
