Piers Morgan apologizes to Jay-Z and Beyoncé after Jaguar Wright drags their name in ‘Didi’ drama – Times of India

Piers Morganhost ofNo censorship show, apologized on air at Jay Z and Beyonce earlier this week following his interview with Jaguar Wright. During the interview, Wright made accusations against the superstar couple that were later proven to be false.
Taking responsibility for his actions, Morgan said on his show Tuesday that lawyers for Jay-Z and Beyoncé had contacted him about Jaguar Wright’s recent allegations. He said the allegations made by Wright “are completely false and have no basis in fact,” the Hollywood Reporter added.
Morgan explained: “The thing about platforms, the reality of the modern world is that almost everyone has a platform as long as they have something to say that other people want to hear. That’s why we invited [Wright] to be interviewed. The people who make these claims have an audience with or without shows like mine.”
Wright, an American singer, appeared on Morgan’s show where she talked about the Sean “Diddy” Combs scandal. She said, “For four years, I have been shouting not only Didi but also Didi and Jay-Z are monsters and the victimization machine kept going.”
When Morgan asked why Jay-Z hasn’t spoken out about Diddy yet, Wright said, “Because that’s what he does. Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein, Robert Kelly, Sean Combs they have one person in common professionally and personally: Shawn Carter.
Morgan then asked about the total number of potential victims, Wright said it could be “thousands.” She then threw Beyoncé into the discussion, claiming that the Texas hold em’ singer was aware of the unfair events that have occurred over the years.
“They’re a nasty little couple. They do nasty things. Holding people against their will, putting people on planes while they are unconscious. Just like Alia got on that plane unconscious. There’s a lot of things people don’t want to talk about, Pierce… I’m just being honest.’
Morgan further clarified, “We’ve had lawyers contact us to say that these claims are completely false and have no basis in fact, and so we’ve complied with a legal request to cut them from the original interview.”
He ended his message with an apology, saying: “Editing interviews is not something we do lightly on a show called ‘Uncensored,’ but like the proverbial shouts of fire in a crowded theater, there are legal restrictions on us as well.” And apologies to Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
