Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday interacted with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Praskar (PMRBP) 2023 awardees at his residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, his office said in a press statement.
PM Modi presented souvenirs to all the awardees and discussed their achievements one by one, followed by an interaction with the entire group.
“He spoke openly in an informal atmosphere. The children asked him various questions about the challenges they were facing and sought his guidance on various topics,” the Prime Minister’s Office said.
The Prime Minister advised the awardees to start by solving small problems as they progress in life, gradually build capacity, increase capacity and build confidence to solve bigger problems.
The Government of India is awarding Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Praskar to children for their extraordinary achievements in six categories – Innovation, Social Service, Education, Sports, Art & Culture and Bravery.
Each awardee is given a medal, cash prize. ₹1 lakh and certificate.
This year 11 children from across the country were honored with Bal Praskar by President Draupadi Murmu.
The awardees from 11 states and Union Territories include 6 boys and 5 girls: Aditya Suresh, M Gauravi Reddy, Shreya Bhattacharjee, Sambh Mishra, Rohan Ramchandra Bahir, Aditya Pratap Singh Chauhan, Rishi Shiv. Prasanna, Anushka Jolie, Hanaya Nisar, Kolagatla Alana Meenakshi and Shauryajeet Ranjit Kumar Kheyre.
