Rs 116 crore spent on 832 faculties in Telangana below PM SHRI: Union Minister

Hyderabad: As many as 832 faculties have been chosen in Telangana below the PM Faculties for Rising India (PM SHRI) program as of March 25 this 12 months and Rs 116.06 crore have been utilised, together with central and state funds, Union Minister of State for Training Jayant Chaudhary mentioned within the Lok Sabha.

Out of the 832 faculties, 38 are central authorities faculties – 29 Kendriya Vidyalayas and 9 Navodaya Vidyalayas.

The PM SHRI scheme goals to saturate faculties throughout the nation with parts of the New Training Coverage (NEP) 2020 and make them a benchmark for different faculties.

Below the scheme, faculties are supplied with laptop labs, info and communications expertise (ICT) labs and good school rooms, libraries, web amenities, vocational ability training, steering and profession counselling, a totally geared up science lab and a playground with well-equipped sports activities amenities.
