Singer Bruce Springsteen joined US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris’ star-studded rally in Georgia on Thursday (local time) and described his Republican opponent Donald Trump as “America’s tyrant”.
When he took the stage in Atlanta, Georgia, where early voting for the presidential election began, Springsteen, popularly known as “The Boss”, threw his support behind Harris and her bandmate Tim Waltz. Speaking about Trump, the 75-year-old singer said the former president “didn’t understand this country or what it means to be deeply American.”
