Srinagar, Mar 05: Authorities on Thursday mentioned that strict restrictions can be imposed in Srinagar metropolis tomorrow following the assassination of Iran’s supreme chief, Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei.
A senior police officer informed Larger Kashmir that the restrictions will proceed on Friday to make sure the state of affairs stays peaceable. He added that, in view of Friday prayers, restrictions can be additional tightened in Srinagar metropolis and no motion in direction of Lal Chowk can be allowed.
“All roads resulting in the town centre can be restricted, and nobody can be allowed to maneuver in direction of Lal Chowk tomorrow,” the officer mentioned.
The police and civil administration are carefully monitoring developments, and additional measures can be taken relying on the state of affairs, the officer added.
