Chengalpattu District Collector D. Sneha, on Monday, mentioned that the district had a complete of twenty-two,60,036 voters of which 11,04,512 are males, 11,55,144 are ladies and 381 belonged to the third gender. As many as 1,90,010 names have been added and 15,465 have been eliminated because the publication of draft electoral roll two months in the past.
Constituency-wise composition of voters are as follows:
Sholinganallur has a complete of 5,36,991 voters of which 2,62,621 are male voters, 2,74,254 ladies voters, and 116 third gender voters.
Pallavaram has a complete of three,30,217 voters of which 1,61,197 males, 1,68,990 are ladies and 24 are others.
Tambaram has a complete of three,23,677 voters of which 1,57,580 are males, 1,66,046 are ladies and 51 are third gender voters.
Chengalpattu has a complete of three,66,400 voters together with 1,78,076 males, 1,88,267 ladies and 57 third gender voters.
Tiruporur has 2,89,401 complete voters of which 1,40,991 are males, 1,48,359 are ladies and 51 are third gender voters.
Cheyyur has a complete of two,02,055 voters together with 1,00,103 males, 1,01,934 ladies and 18 third gender voters.
