Telangana Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka stated the federal government is implementing Abhaya Hastham public welfare schemes akin to Mahalakshmi, Gruhajyothi, Indiramma Homes, and Mahila Shakti Mission to carry gentle into the lives of the poor in a fashion useful to those that don’t even have minimal services.

The Finance and Energy Minister stated that underneath the Gruhajyothi scheme – free electrical energy as much as 200 models to about 53 lakh 9 thousand poor and middle-class households – the federal government has paid Rs.3,954 crore to the ability utilities, and 10.97 crore zero-bills have been issued underneath this scheme.
Beneath Mahila Shakti Mission, the federal government has resolved to make 1 crore girls within the IKP teams of the State into millionaires. Mr. Bhatti stated that they’re making efforts to facilitate financial institution loans of Rs.1 lakh crore in 5 years. As a part of this, loans amounting to Rs.57,938 crore have already been facilitated.
Beneath the VLR scheme, from December 2023 until in the present day, curiosity subsidy of Rs.1,329 crore has been launched to city and rural SHGs. Within the State, IKP has emerged as a robust community of self-help teams with 67 lakh girls.
On enterprise alternatives being created for self assist teams, the Telangana Finance Minister within the Finances speech stated the federal government will buy 600 buses via SHGs and lease them to TGSRTC. Within the first part, the federal government have bought 494 buses at a value of Rs.177 crore 84 lakh
To additional strengthen girls’s empowerment, along with the present 10 districts, the State authorities is establishing Indira Mahila Shakti Bhavans in 22 extra districts, he stated.
