Trump seems more and more involved in discovering an off-ramp with Iran, or what he calls “winding down” the conflict.
However his exit technique is unclear – and the US president’s combined messaging suggests he is nonetheless undecided about what would work finest: ramping up the battle to attempt to finish it as rapidly as doable, or pushing for a negotiated settlement with Tehran.
