North Dakota is looking for purposes for 2 spots on the State Board of Larger Training. 

The four-year phrases of board members Danita Bye of Stanley and Kevin Black of Minot will finish June 30. Black, the board chair, is eligible for a second time period however Bye is just not.

Functions are submitted by the North Dakota Division of Public Instruction. The deadline is Might 22. 

Functions could also be emailed to the North Dakota Division of Public Instruction at [email protected] or despatched by mail to the NDDPI at 600 E. Boulevard Ave., State Capitol, Dept. 201, Bismarck, ND, 58505.

Gov. Kelly Armstrong appoints members of the Board of Larger Training, topic to affirmation by the state Senate. Superintendent of Public Instruction Levi Bachmeier chairs the five-member committee that screens candidates. The panel forwards an inventory of three candidates to the governor for every opening.

The Board of Larger Training oversees the 11 public faculties and universities which are a part of the North Dakota College System.
