Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante is to overlook nearly all of the remaining dates of the band’s present European tour after succumbing to harm.
“I needed to let everybody know that I sadly injured my proper hand and, following my physician’s orders, I’ll be sitting out a handful of exhibits from June 20 via July 4 to present it the correct time to heal,” says Benante.
“I’m extremely grateful that Darby Todd will likely be stepping in behind the package for these dates and serving to hold the exhibits rolling whereas I get better. Todd has already deputised for Benante on this tour, filling the Anthrax drum seat when the tour kicked off on the Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece, final month, whereas Benante was in any other case engaged with Pantera.
