DIMAPUR: Nagaland Police and Assam Royal International College (RGU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday to broaden instructional alternatives for households of police personnel. The settlement was formalised on the workplace of the Director Common of Police, Kohima, within the presence of senior officers from each establishments.
The MoU was signed by Director Common of Police, Rupin Sharma, on behalf of Nagaland Police, and Dr. D. N. Singh, Registrar (Lecturers), representing RGU.
Talking on the event, Sharma highlighted the significance of the collaboration, expressing confidence that it will profit the wards and dependents of police personnel by facilitating entry to high quality larger training. He mentioned the initiative could be successfully utilised to help the neighborhood, significantly kids and dependents of serving and retired personnel.
Underneath the partnership, RGU will introduce two scholarship classes—Royal Shaurya and Royal Suraksha—designed to help larger training aspirations of eligible dependents of defence and safety personnel, together with serving personnel, ex servicemen, personnel with disabilities, and people who have died in harness.
Dr. Singh described the MoU as an honour and privilege for RGU, stating that the college was dedicated to recognising the contributions of police personnel by making certain their households have entry to tutorial excellence, scholarships and holistic improvement alternatives.
The ceremony was attended by senior Nagaland Police officers together with ADGP (Administration) Renchamo P. Kikon, IGPs Videlalie Zashumo, Rothihu Tetseo, Jaspir Singh, Kevithuto Sophie, Changkei Konyak, DIGs Uniel Kichu, Chumrenthung, Yangba Konyak, Lakha Koza, Vekhosa Chakesang, and AIGP (Coordination) Watichuchang Jamir.
